Their fears grew with each passing day. Phone calls went unanswered, messages were never read, and no one seemed to know what had happened to him after he was last seen at Jumeirah Beach on June 13.

The disappearance triggered a public appeal, with relatives and friends sharing his photographs online and pleading for help from anyone who might have seen him.

Now, the mystery has finally been solved. Speaking to NGBREAKINGNEWS after returning to Kenya, Mathew revealed that he had been detained by authorities in Dubai.

He disclosed that he was unable to contact his loved ones because all of his personal belongings, including his phone, had been confiscated.

According to Mathew, his troubles began after his employer allegedly absconded him, leaving him in a difficult situation.

“I was caught by CID officers at Jumeirah Beach,” he said. “They took me to Warsan Deportation Camp, where I stayed for one week.”

Mathew explained that authorities confiscated everything he had with him, cutting off all communication with the outside world.

While his family back home feared the worst, he was being held at the deportation facility with no way of informing them that he was alive.

After spending a week at the camp, he was held for another week as deportation arrangements were processed.

He was eventually deported back to Kenya, ending a harrowing ordeal that had left his family in distress.

For his loved ones, the relief of knowing he is safe outweighs the hardship he endured.

What began as a frantic search for a missing man has ended with an emotional reunion and long-awaited answers.
