KNESSET DISSOLVED: Israeli Lawmakers Vote 62-0 To Trigger Elections And End 25th Knesset Term

BREAKING: The 25th Knesset was officially dissolved early Friday morning after lawmakers approved the Party Financing Bill, which included the dissolution clause, by a 62-0 vote.

The vote followed last-minute turmoil after Shas chairman Aryeh Deri sent the bill back to committee and refused to advance it without opposition support. The election recess has now officially begun.
