Ahead of the forthcoming 2027 presidential election, the Federal High Court in Lokoja has voided the registration of the Nigeria Democratic Congress NDC after the Peace Movement Party (PMP) accused the NDC of hijacking its party logo.
However, in the video, Omoyele Sowore, a human rights activist and presidential candidate for the African Action Congress (AAC), revealed that when he was remanded at Kuje prison, members of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) sent messages to him, pleading for support as their party had been deregistered.
In his words, “They were sending messages to me in prison that Sowore, our party, has been deregistered.”
