ONC Presents Prestigious Ambassador Of Peace Certificate To Senator Banigo’s Senatorial Manager

Notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress (ONC) has formally presented its prestigious Ambassador of Peace (AP) certificate to Mr. Onyekachi Chukwuemeka, Senatorial Manager to the Distinguished Senator representing Rivers West Senatorial District, Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry Banigo.

The presentation ceremony, held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, followed the official confirmation letter issued by the Congress, recognizing Mr. Chukwuemeka’s outstanding contributions to peacebuilding, community development, justice, and humanitarian service across Rivers West and the Orashi region.

Presenting the award, the President General of the Orashi National Congress, Ambassador Comrade Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, said the honour was approved after extensive consultations and deliberations by the leadership of the Congress. He noted that the award reflects Mr. Chukwuemeka’s exemplary leadership, integrity, and unwavering commitment to promoting peace and sustainable development.

According to Amb. Ibe, the recipient has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication to public service and has contributed immensely to initiatives that foster unity and progress within the region.

Receiving the award, Mr. Onyekachi Chukwuemeka expressed gratitude to the leadership of the ONC for finding him worthy of the honour. He described the recognition as a call to greater service and pledged to remain committed to advancing peace, supporting community development, and complementing the efforts of Senator Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry Banigo in delivering quality representation to the people of Rivers West.

 

The event was attended by members of the ONC leadership, community stakeholders, youth leaders, and supporters, who congratulated the award recipient and commended the Congress for recognizing individuals making meaningful contributions to society.
