Reports Claim Israel Prepared for Fresh Strikes on Iran Pending Trump’s Go-Ahead

Israel is reportedly prepared to rejoin military operations against Iran alongside the United States, but is awaiting authorization from US President Donald Trump before taking further action, according to multiple media reports.

Israel’s public broadcaster, Kan, reported that some Israeli officials support renewing military strikes on Iran as tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to escalate.

The report, which cited unnamed sources, said officials in Jerusalem expect the exchange of attacks between the US and Iran to continue over the coming days.

Separately, The New York Post quoted an unidentified Jerusalem-based source as saying Israel remains willing to participate in future military operations against the Islamic Republic if circumstances require.

“We’re willing to do it again, if needed,” the source reportedly said on Wednesday, shortly before the United States launched its latest strikes on Iranian targets.

While acknowledging the domestic impact of renewed hostilities, the source said Israel is not seeking another prolonged conflict but believes it cannot ignore developments inside Iran.

“We’re not eager to return to the days when people have to run to shelters,” the source said. “But we also can’t ignore what’s happening in Iran. If that’s the price we have to pay, then we’ll bear it.”

The reports have not been officially confirmed by either the Israeli government or the White House.

However, they come amid growing regional tensions following renewed US military action against Iranian targets and heightened concerns over the possibility of a broader conflict in the Middle East.
