Remo Secondary School (RSS) has etched its name into the history books with a groundbreaking valedictory service for its Class of 2026, redefining how public secondary school graduations are celebrated in Nigeria.
In a bold and innovative departure from tradition, the prestigious Ogun State institution staged a university-style graduation ceremony, complete with full academic regalia—gowns, caps, and ceremonial flair—creating an atmosphere typically reserved for tertiary institutions.

In a powerful show of commitment to education and youth development, the Hope Bridge Social Impact Foundation awarded full higher education scholarships to approximately 25 outstanding students. The initiative is set to significantly impact the beneficiaries, providing them with the financial support needed to pursue tertiary education and achieve their ambitions.
Leadership Commendations
Speaking at the event, the President of RSSOSA, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, praised the graduating class and applauded the collective efforts of teachers, parents, and school administrators in shaping the students’ journey.
He also commended the Ogun State Government under Governor Dapo Abiodun for its sustained investment in education. In particular, he highlighted the “Yellow Revolution” initiative as a transformative policy that has improved learning environments across public schools in the state.
Acknowledgement was also given to the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, for his role in advancing educational development and reform.
