RTEI trains youths in AI, digital skills at RCCG Convention 2026 

Royal Trust Empowerment Initiatives (RTEI) has sponsored youth capacity-building initiatives in Artificial Intelligence (AI), professional development resources, entrepreneurship empowerment support, career development materials, and digital learning resources at the 2026 Young Adult and Youth Affairs (YAYA) Annual Convention held in Abuja, with the theme: “In Times Like This.” (Esther 4:14)

The training by RTEI, official sponsor of the Empowerment Segment of the convention, is in partnership with the RCCG FCT Province 20 YAYA. 

According to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of RTEI, Dr. Ijeoma Peculiar Owokoniran, the youth capacity-building initiatives aimed at preparing participants for success in today’s rapidly evolving digital economy.

The convention featured an exceptional faculty of highly accomplished professionals and kingdom leaders who delivered life-transforming presentations.

They included Dr. Victor Oshadare, a globally renowned management consultant, Harvard MBA holder, World Bank-certified trainer, certified fraud examiner, and adviser to several government institutions and financial organisations, who delivered an insightful session on Finance and Wealth Creation, equipping participants with practical strategies for financial intelligence and sustainable prosperity.

Participants also benefited from the wealth of experience of Pastor Felix Adeoye, a legal practitioner, retired Director of the Nigerian Communications Commission, author, leadership teacher, and Assistant Provincial Pastor in Charge of Christian Social Responsibility, RCCG FCT Province 10, who inspired attendees on Career Growth and Professional Excellence.

Ambassador and Pastor (Dr.) Lawrence Olufemi Obisakin, retired Nigerian Ambassador, former Director of State Protocol, accomplished diplomat, scholar, author, and National Secretary of RCCG FCT Province 10 and 20, together with his wife, Dr. Cecilia Obisakin, a pastor and an internationally respected Biblical counsellor, educator, family life coach, and television minister, delivered an impactful session on Relationship and Family Management, providing practical and biblical principles for building healthy homes and enduring relationships.

Furthermore, participants were also enlightened by Dr. John Agbo, an internationally recognised physician, Medical Director of Lona City Care Hospital, Abuja and Lead Pastor of Renaissance Renewal Family Ministry, who challenged young people to prioritise healthy living as a foundation for purposeful and productive lives.

Pastor Sunday Ogunmuyiwa, a distinguished Chartered Stockbroker and seasoned finance and investment expert, delivered an insightful and highly practical presentation on stock market investments. 

Through a simplified and engaging approach, he guided participants on how to identify and leverage investment opportunities in the capital market, transform disciplined investing into long-term wealth creation, and build sustainable financial security. 

His presentation demystified stock market investing and inspired participants to view the capital market as a strategic pathway to financial independence and generational wealth.

The convention’s keynote address was delivered by Pastor David Samuel, an Assistant Pastor in Charge of Administration, RCCG FCT Province 20, who challenged participants to embrace God’s purpose and remain relevant in a rapidly changing world.

The Provincial Youth Pastor, Dr. Samuel Olusegun Owokoniran, an International Business, Strategic Management and Business Development Consultant, Financial and Investment specialist, Associate Professor of Leadership and Entrepreneurship, author, and Group Managing Director/CEO of Microbits Consultancy Limited, captivated participants with a highly practical presentation on Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Opportunities for Young People, demonstrating how AI can be leveraged for education, business, ministry, entrepreneurship, career advancement, and personal productivity.

In her goodwill address, Dr. Owokoniran reaffirmed the vision of Royal Trust Empowerment Initiatives to transform lives through strategic interventions in education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, youth development, women empowerment, leadership development, and digital innovation. 

She encouraged participants to embrace lifelong learning, acquire future-ready digital skills, uphold integrity, and become solution providers capable of creating lasting impact in their communities and beyond.

Highlighting the organisation’s growing impact, she disclosed that just a month ago, Royal Trust Empowerment Initiatives successfully facilitated the enrolment of elderly persons, senior citizens, and vulnerable women into the FCT Health Insurance Scheme, thereby expanding access to quality healthcare for underserved members of society. 

She further called on governments, corporate organisations, development agencies, faith-based institutions, philanthropic foundations, and individuals of goodwill to partner with the organisation in expanding sustainable empowerment programmes across Nigeria and Africa.

The convention reached its climax with the presentation of empowerment cheques, AI training scholarships, and other support packages to deserving beneficiaries by the Pastor-in-Charge of RCCG FCT Province 20, Pastor Temitope Oluyemi, alongside his wife, Pastor Adeola Beatrice Oluyemi.

Their visionary leadership and unwavering commitment have continued to foster spiritual growth, leadership development, and youth empowerment.
