“Shame did not allow her look at me” — Lady narrates how rude passenger who pushed her son ended up relying on her kindness

A lady has gone viral after narrating an encounter with a fellow passenger during a commercial tricycle, popularly known as a keke, ride.

The story has attracted attention on social media because of its unexpected ending despite the heated exchange between both women.

According to the lady, she boarded the keke with her son, Eden, and paid for two seats.

She said another female passenger, who was carrying three children on her lap, demanded that she move her son to create space for the children.

When she refused, the woman pushed the child to make room, prompting the lady to insist that the passenger continue carrying her children as she had done before they boarded.

Argument escalates during the keke ride

The lady said, “She thought I was a reasonable person that would help her fellow woman, then she said I just like wasting money because I could have just carried my child on my legs.”

She further alleged that the woman later threw a corn stalk onto the road after eating, and when she challenged the act, the passenger reportedly insulted her appearance, saying her nose was wide and ugly.

The disagreement, however, took an unexpected turn when they arrived at the final bus stop.

Unexpected ending sparks reactions

According to the lady, the woman later realised she had mistakenly thrown away her transport fare together with the corn stalk.

She said the keke rider insisted on collecting his fare and was prepared to embarrass the passenger.

Despite their earlier disagreement, the lady said she paid the woman’s fare for the sake of her children. She added that the woman quietly thanked her but could not look her in the eye.

The story has since generated mixed reactions online, with many social media users praising the lady for choosing compassion over revenge, while others said the incident served as a lesson on humility and kindness.
