“Someone Accused of Terrorism Shouldn’t Be Talking About Obi” – Mama Pee Blasts Ali Modu Sheriff

Political commentator Mama Pee has criticized former Borno State Governor Ali Modu Sheriff over his recent remarks about Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, questioning his moral authority to comment on national issues.

Ali Modu Sheriff recently came under the spotlight after claiming during a television interview that Peter Obi “is pursuing the division of Nigeria because he believes in Biafra.” He also alleged that Obi had never publicly condemned Biafra or the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), adding that anyone seeking to lead Nigeria must be committed to the country’s unity.

Reacting to Sheriff’s interview on national television, where he accused Peter Obi of pursuing Nigeria’s division through his alleged support for Biafra, Mama Pee referenced past allegations that linked the former governor to terrorism, although no court has convicted him of such offences.

“This is former Governor Ali Modu Sheriff, someone who was accused of terrørism. Even when the Chibok girls were kidn@pped, his name was mentioned and he was accused,” she said.

Her comments quickly gained traction on social media, with many Nigerians sharing differing opinions on the controversy.
