Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, describing the president’s efforts in the South-East as a deliberate move to rebuild the region and heal the long-standing wounds caused by the Nigerian Civil War.
Speaking on the development of the region, Soludo said President Tinubu was “intentionally rebuilding the South-East” and working towards addressing the historical challenges that have affected the area for decades.
According to the governor, the president’s actions show a commitment to restoring trust, promoting economic growth, and ensuring that the South-East receives greater attention in Nigeria’s development plans.
“President Tinubu is intentionally rebuilding the South-East and healing the wounds of civil war,” Soludo stated, noting that the region’s challenges require a focused and inclusive approach.
The former Central Bank of Nigeria governor explained that rebuilding the South-East goes beyond physical infrastructure, stressing the importance of reconciliation, empowerment, and creating opportunities for the people.
