The Chief Executive Officer of Winter Place, Engr. Obi Njoku, has been conferred with the title of Ezinwa of St. George’s Anglican Church, Lorji, in recognition of his contributions to the church and community.
The honour, which was bestowed on June 21, 2026, came days after Njoku was recognised with the Most Outstanding Igbo Personality of the Year in Business award.
According to the church, the title was conferred in appreciation of his commitment to supporting church activities and his contributions to humanitarian and community development initiatives.
Speaking after receiving the honour, Njoku expressed gratitude to the leadership of St. George’s Anglican Church for the recognition.
“I receive this honour with gratitude to Almighty God and sincerely thank the Church for finding me worthy of this recognition. I see it as a call to greater service and a reminder of the responsibility to continue supporting God’s work and contributing to the well-being of society,” he said.
Njoku is the Chief Executive Officer of Winter Place, a subsidiary of Njame Consulting Limited, which provides heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions, as well as home appliance services for residential, commercial and industrial clients.
A graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, he has more than 15 years of experience in engineering, project management and business development.
He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE), and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
