Ugandan police have arrested a group of suspected internet fraudsters, commonly referred to as Yahoo Boys, following a raid on a residential property where they were allegedly holding a loud house party.
According to information circulating online, the police operation was prompted after residents in the neighborhood reportedly alerted authorities about excessive noise coming from the house.
Upon entering the premises, officers allegedly found three women and two men completely naked, while five other men were said to be partially clothed. The occupants were reportedly playing loud music and dancing inside the residence when the police arrived.
The suspects were subsequently arrested at the scene. Videos shared on social media appear to show the individuals being filmed by police officers before they were transported to a police station for further investigation. Watch Video
The viral footage has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many users expressing surprise over the unusual circumstances surrounding the arrests.
Authorities are expected to continue investigations to determine whether any criminal offences, including alleged internet fraud or public indecency, were committed.
