Following a financial failure, actor Yomi Gold has spoken out, stating that he won’t let early setbacks to define him.
The actor posted an update on his social media page after supposedly giving up acting to sell goats in the US.
Yomi stated that although certain losses are irreversible, he has come to terms with them and is concentrating on the lessons he has learnt.
He said that early losses in business could not hold him down, adding that while some losses can never be recovered, he has come to accept that reality.
He explained that every setback has taught him valuable lessons, which he considers worth more than what was lost.
He added that he refuses to let the past define his future, stating that he is moving forward with greater wisdom, stronger determination and unwavering faith in what lies ahead.
According to him, the chapter of loss has closed, while a new chapter of growth, resilience and fresh opportunities has begun.
Yomi Gold rose to fame in Nollywood before relocating abroad and venturing into business.
