  • BBNaija star Sammie, has been accused of defrauding a man named Emmanuel of ₦4.45 million by falsely promising to help him gain entry into the reality show.

BBNaija star Sammie, real name Samuel Jacob Alifa, has been accused of scamming a man named Emmanuel of ₦4.45 million with a promise to help him secure a spot on the reality show.

The allegation was shared on X by user @AssistantEbukaa, along with a video of Emmanuel explaining his experience.

“BBNaija star Sammie took almost ₦5 million from this guy, promising it would push him to become a contestant during the audition, but the audition just ended and he wasn’t even selected.”

“Now, he’s frustrated after spending such an amount. Sammie has since stopped communicating with him, despite promising that the money would be refunded if it didn’t work out.”

In the video, Emmanuel claimed Sammie promised to help him join BBNaija and kept requesting money.

Desperate, Emmanuel said he took a loan and later sold his car to repay the debt.

According to him, “My name is Emmanuel. I was scammed of ₦4.5 million by my brother from Kogi State, Samuel. He advised me to get a loan. At the end of the day, I had to sell my car to pay back the loan. What hurt me the most is that I wasn’t just scammed by a random person, but by someone I trusted and considered a brother.”
