
The Hope Rising Nigeria Movement (HORNIM) has hailed the re-emergence of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a strong signal of renewed confidence and unity within the party.
In a statement signed by its National Leader, Alhaji Abdul Wahab Qoudiri, the movement said Goshwe’s emergence through an overwhelming affirmation at a peaceful and democratic convention reflected his wide acceptance, credibility, and proven leadership capacity.
The group expressed optimism that his leadership would usher in a new phase of unity, strategic direction, and strengthened grassroots engagement across the party over the next four years.
“As a movement committed to promoting governance performance and grassroots awareness, we look forward to a robust and inclusive party structure that will advance democratic values and national development,” the statement noted.
HORNM also felicitated with the newly elected members of the APC National Executive Committee, describing their emergence as a significant step towards strengthening internal democracy, cohesion, and party stability.
The movement further expressed confidence that the new leadership under Prof. Goshwe would consolidate on the party’s gains while providing purposeful direction in advancing democratic governance in Nigeria.
It also prayed for wisdom, strength, and guidance for the APC National Chairman as he assumes the responsibility of leading the party at a critical time.
