Former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu was on Wednesday, 30 April, 2026 snubbed by members of the Oyo State National Assembly caucus as he went to purchase his expression of interest and nomination forms to contest the governorship seat of the state, reports thegazellenews.com
In contrast, Adelabu’s rival for the same office, Sharafadeen Alli was accompanied to collect his forms by members of the state caucus in the National Assembly.
The Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District in Upper Legislative Chamber, Senator Yunus Abiodun Akintunde led Federal lawmakers from Oyo state to accompany Alli to collect his forms.
Others on the entourage are: Honourable Remi Oseni, Honourable Olamiju Alao-Akala, Honourable Akin Alabi, Honourable Tajudeen Abisodun, and Honourable Akeem Adeyemi.
