Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State have endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in 2027.
The group also declared support for the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Salihu Yakubu Danladi, as their preferred candidate for the 2027 governorship election.
In a statement issued during a meeting in the area, the APC members said:“We have gathered here today to endorse the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and also throw our support behind the governorship aspiration of the Kwara State House of Assembly Speaker, Saliu Yakubu Danladi.”
They commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his performance in infrastructure, health, education, agriculture, and human capital development.
The endorsement adds to growing calls for Kwara North to produce the next governor, with the Speaker seen as a strong contender from the zone.
This move is part of wider mobilisation by APC groups in Kwara State to rally behind President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
