As the race for 2027 general elections hots up, the Personal Assistant to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu (Abia North), Aminu Shehu Uba Sharada,
has declared his intention to contest for the seat of Kano Municipal Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Sharada’s declaration as contained in statement signed by his media crew, marks a significant step in his political journey, reflects his unwavering commitment to public service, grassroots development, and effective representation.
The aspirant who seeking for the ticket on platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC ) , explained in the statement that his decision was driven by a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of the people of Kano Municipal, as well as his desire to contribute meaningfully to their progress and well-being.
“Kano Municipal, being a historic center of commerce, culture, and human capital, deserves vibrant and responsive representation that prioritizes youth empowerment, economic opportunities, quality education, and infrastructural development.
“The time has come to inject fresh energy, innovative ideas, and people-oriented leadership into the legislative process”, he said.
Drawing from his experience in public service and close engagement with governance at the national level, Aminu Shehu Uba Sharada expressed confidence in his capacity to effectively represent his constituents and to champion policies that will positively impact their lives.
He further called on party leaders, stakeholders, youths, women, and elders across the constituency to rally behind his aspiration, stressing that unity and collective effort are essential in building a stronger and more prosperous Kano Municipal.
