Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has visited former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso at his residence.
This development was disclosed in a statement by Atiku via his Facebook account on Wednesday.
He disclosed that the discussions between the two leaders focused on the progress of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and how to ensure good governance.

“I paid a courtesy visit to the residence of my brother and partner, His Excellency Rabiu Kwankwaso, this afternoon. We had quality discussions on the progress of our party, the ADC, and how we must continue the work to ensure good governance and recovery are achieved in good time for the people,” Atiku wrote.
NOP NIGERIA reports that the meeting represents the first official meeting between the two leaders after Kwankwaso dumped the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) for the ADC.
Meanwhile, the ADC has alleged that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has launched a fresh plan to destabilize the opposition party.
The ADC claimed that the APC has scheduled a public protest for Thursday, 2nd April, in Abuja for a paid crowd to pose as aggrieved party members and demand that the National Chairman of the party, “David Mark Must Go.”
The ADC, in a statement on Wednesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, alleged that a serving Minister is behind the planned protest.
He added that the plan of the ruling party is to pressure the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to take illegal actions against the ADC following the defection of former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, to the party.
Abdullahi therefore called on President Bola Tinubu to call his party and Minister to order if they are not acting on his orders.
