As Christians commemorate Easter across the world, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has called on citizens to embrace hope, love, and resilience in the face of challenges.

In his goodwill message, Governor Mohammed urged residents to reflect on the deeper meaning of Easter, which marks the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, describing it as a symbol of renewal and divine love.

He encouraged citizens to strengthen their relationships with God and promote unity across religious and ethnic lines, noting that peace and mutual understanding remain key to societal progress.

Governor Mohammed expressed confidence in the resilience of the people, stating that Bauchi would emerge stronger despite the present socio-economic difficulties.

“As a people known for our resilience, I am confident that we shall emerge stronger,” he said, urging citizens to remain steadfast in faith and supportive of one another.

He concluded by wishing Christians a joyful, peaceful, and hitch-free Easter celebration.
