The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, has rewarded outstanding personnel for exemplary conduct, reaffirming the Corps’ commitment to integrity, transparency, and professionalism.

At a brief ceremony in Abuja on Tuesday, selected officers and marshals drawn from operational commands nationwide received commendation letters and cash rewards in recognition of their consistent adherence to ethical standards and professional excellence.

Mohammed said the recognition was part of a deliberate institutional framework to motivate personnel, strengthen public trust and reinforce the Corps’s zero tolerance stance on unethical conduct.

He noted that the honourees were celebrated not for isolated acts, but for sustaining discipline, accountability and values that align with the Corps’ mandate.

He emphasised that integrity remains the cornerstone of effective law enforcement and public safety administration, adding that the FRSC will continue to identify and reward behaviours that enhance its image. According to him, the recognition reflects the organisation’s identity and core principles.

The Corps Marshal further stated that thousands of FRSC personnel carry out their duties daily with honour, courage, and a strong sense of responsibility, noting that the awards highlight this enduring culture and serve as a reminder that integrity is both expected and appreciated.

He added that the initiative is designed not only to recognise excellence but also to inspire others to uphold the Corps’ values, while reaffirming management’s commitment to providing the right environment, leadership, and incentives to sustain ethical conduct and operational efficiency.

The FRSC reiterated its resolve to build a safer motoring environment while maintaining a workforce anchored on discipline, transparency, and service to humanity.
