All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Lagos State, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran JANDOR, has continued his extensive stakeholder engagement with a high-level consultation visit to the Chairman of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Prince Tajudeen Olusi, alongside other eminent members of GAC.
In the course of this strategic outreach, JANDOR also met with respected GAC member, Cardinal James Omolaja Odumbaku; a former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sabit Adeyemi Ikuforiji; and a chieftain of the party, Hon. Monsuru Owolabi Batola popularly known as Alao Seniyan.
“These engagements form a critical part of his ongoing consultations ahead of the Lagos APC Governorship primaries.
“The visits underscore JANDOR’s firm commitment to a comprehensive and inclusive consultation framework, deliberately designed to integrate both grassroots sentiments and leadership perspectives. This dual-track strategy, a bottom-top and top-bottom approach reflects his belief that sustainable political leadership must be anchored on broad-based consensus across all strata of the party,” Jandor’s spokesman, Gbenga Ogunleye said in a statement.
In furtherance of this people-driven approach, JANDOR has directed leaders of his political structure across the 377 wards and 13,326 polling units in Lagos State to commence immediate engagement with party members, with a view to mobilising support and strengthening grassroots alignment for his governorship aspiration ahead of the party primaries.
JANDOR reiterated his respect for the institutional wisdom no by and stabilizing role of the GAC in Lagos APC politics, noting that their guidance remains invaluable in fostering unity, continuity, and progressive governance in the state.
He further assured party leaders of his unwavering loyalty to the APC and his readiness to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, while remaining aligned with the resolutions and direction of the party leadership at all times.
“These consultations mark a significant step in JANDOR’s ongoing efforts to build alignment, deepen trust, and reinforce unity within the Lagos APC as the party prepares for the future,” the statement concluded.
