Less than 24 hours the leadership of Senator David Mark-led African Democratic Congress (ADC) is expected to know its fate at the Supreme Court, the party has braced up preparations for its much anticipated national convention in Abuja on Tuesday.
Findings by our correspondent revealed that the party may have secured the Rainbow Event Center in Garki area for the event.
Earlier, unconfirmed reports filtered out that the ADC was denied the use the Eagle Square, a report that was later punctured by the Minister of the Federal capital Territory (FCT), Barr Nyesom Wike.
The party, it would be recalled, had held its National Executive Committee (NEC) at the same venue.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had derecognised the Mark’s leadership of the ADC, citing the decision of an Appeal Court that ordered that the status quo ante-bellum be maintained.
Coincidentally, hearing on the appeal filed by the Mark-led faction is scheduled at the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
