Fresh bandits attack in Katsina State has led to the abduction of at least 15 residents with one person killed in some parts of the State.
Armed men reportedly launched raids on multiple communities in Malumfashi Local Government Area of the state within hours.
According to local reports, the attackers first stormed Unguwar Dambu in the Gora Dan Saka district, abducting no fewer than 15 people during the invasion.

Hours later, the gunmen reportedly advanced to Gora community, where they ambushed residents at about 3 a.m.
During the second attack, two persons were shot, with one later confirmed dead from injuries sustained.
In a tragic turn, a pregnant woman was also reported to have died after collapsing from shock upon hearing that bandits had entered the area.
The attacks have renewed concerns over persistent insecurity in northwest Nigeria, where communities continue to face frequent raids, kidnappings, and killings.
As of the time of filing this report, there was no official statement from security agencies regarding the incident.
