Fresh progress has reportedly been made in backchannel talks between the United States and Iran, with a Pakistani source involved in mediation saying both sides are moving closer to a potential agreement.
According to the source, an upcoming meeting could lead to the signing of a memorandum of understanding, followed by a broader comprehensive deal within the next 60 days.
Discussions have also focused on sanctions relief and Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium, with signs of possible compromise emerging as negotiations continue.
