Let me undertake the political task of describing the personality and performance of Distinguished Sen Jarigbe Agom, and to make a compelling case for his return to the Senate in 2027, for the good of the people of Cross River North and indeed Cross River State at large.
If effective representation in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly is measured by tangible impact and verifiable performance, then Senator Jarigbe has beyond reasonable doubt, demonstrated that he is truly in the Senate of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Senator Jarigbe is the calibre of leader the people long yearned for, and have now found. His appeal continues to grow, anchored firmly on a track record of uncommon and unprecedented performance. Across the five Local Government Areas of the Northern Senatorial District, his footprint is both visible and impactful: from the facilitation of road projects to the construction of classroom blocks; from the provision of clean, potable water through solar-powered boreholes to the installation of modern street lighting; from the empowerment of farmers, traders, and market women to bursaries and scholarships for students, as well as skills acquisition programmes for the youth.
These are not mere promises but reality and the true essence of representation, development, empowerment, and people-centred governance.
Distinguished Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe is without doubt, the proverbial hunter who kills a lion and elephant bare-handed and shares the meat equitably, earns the respect and loyalty of all. His support base is not manufactured. It is organic, widespread, and deeply rooted in performance.
Fondly called “Jari Wonder” by some of his teeming supporters, he has proven to be an uncommon senator. He understands the rhythm of the people and the pulse of the streets. He is both relatable and responsive, and that rare combination continues to work in his favour, even against daunting odds.
His recent consultation tour across the five Local Government Areas further underscores this reality. The overwhelming turnout of supporters and stakeholders who gathered to receive him spoke volumes. The people are wiser now; they no longer follow empty rhetoric but stand firmly with leaders whose performance is evident, visible to the blind and audible to the deaf. The massive crowds witnessed across the district were not driven by sentiments such as zoning, as some would suggest, but by genuine love, acceptance, performance, and appreciation of impactful leadership.
As we move towards next month, primaries and January general elections. Be rest assured that Senator Jarigbe Agom is our winning joker and formula in our senatorial district for our great party, the APC. His gear is on neutral, ready to accommodate all for the interest of party unity, our collective development, and mobilising support for our dear governor, president, and other APC candidates. Let’s join hands with him as a man of grace to deliver more. Let’s not allow his grace to disgrace anyone for not supporting his unparalleled records and continuity.
He is not asking for too much. He is not fighting anyone for his or her seat. He is just asking for the position he presently occupies, which is justified based on his sterling achievements. Senator Jarigbe Agom’s goodwill speaks volumes. His unlimited kindness is the language that even the deaf hears and the blind sees. With him on the ballot, APC is sure of jumbo votes from our zone by God’s grace because he is a round peg in a round hole and a movement himself🙏
