US President Donald Trump said the United States will work closely with Iran following what he described as a “very productive regime change,” outlining a potential shift in ties between the two countries.

In a Truth Social post, he claimed that Iran would halt uranium enrichment and cooperate with the US in removing deeply buried nuclear material under strict satellite surveillance, including monitoring by space-based systems.

Trump added that discussions are underway on tariff adjustments and sanctions relief, with several points already agreed upon, indicating movement toward a broader understanding.
Iran has yet to comment on Trump’s claim.

In a seperate post, Trump has warned that any country supplying military weapons to Iran will face an immediate 50% tariff on all goods exported to the United States, with no exemptions or exclusions.

The statement signals a sharp escalation in Washington’s economic pressure strategy aimed at isolating Tehran militarily.

The post  came hours after Donald Trump announced a two-week ceasefire provided that Iran reopens the Strait of Hormuz.

He said, “The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East. We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate.”
