
The vice chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, Professor Babatola Ayodele, Tuesday said a total number of 10,959 graduates of the institution will be conferred with Diplomas, Bachelor degrees and Higher degrees during its 30th convocation holdig this Saturday.
Prof. Ayodele, who stated this at a press conference on the school campus ahead of the convocation ceremony, listed 82 as First Class (Hons) Bachelor’s degrees and 155 PhD amongst others.
The EKSU VC stated further that the convocation ceremony marking the 44th anniversary of the establishment of the university and being the second since he assumed office on 20th August 2024 would give him the opportunity to re -emphasise for the benefit of the general public.
He highlighted the schedule of activities lined-up for the 30th convocation ceremony to include convocation lecture, an evening of with the vice chancellor and awards of excellence in research and sports.
