He said: “People are celebrating; I don’t know what they are celebrating; nothing has been decided.”
He argued that despite interpretations of the .... Supreme Court judgment, several aspects of the political disputes remain unresolved and subject to further legal clarification.
Maduabuchi maintained that court processes should not be misread as final resolution of all internal party conflicts, especially where multiple cases are still pending in different courts.
He further noted that political actors must be careful not to celebrate prematurely, as legal interpretations may still evolve through appellate processes.
The senior advocate emphasized that the Supreme Court’s intervention addressed procedural issues but did not necessarily conclude all underlying leadership questions.
According to him, stakeholders should await full judicial clarity before drawing final conclusions on the political implications.
