Nigerian music power couple Adekunle Gold and Simi have made their first public appearance together following the birth of their child.
Since getting pregnant and welcoming another child, Simi has been keeping a low profile, unlike her husband.
On Thursday, the couple had stepped out in style to celebrate Adekunle Gold’s MacAllan X Adekunle Gold announcement dinner.
Also in attendance were Tomike, Enioluwa, Do2dtun, Shoday, Ladipoe and others.
Kemi Filani reported in March, that the couple had welcomed their second child. Sharing maternity photos of herself and her husband, she expressed gratitude to God for her beautiful family and noted that she is now a mother of 2.
In a recent interview with Great Day Houston, Adekunle stated that they didn’t welcome twins. According to him, it is internet rumours. The singer revealed that he and his wife welcomed a son.
A month ago, the singer splashed millions on a brand new G-Wagon. In a viral video, he was captured in his new ride as his friend hailed him.
On his wife, Simi’s 38th birthday, he had spoiled her with a brand-new Mercedes-Benz and a diamond ring. Simi, via her Instagram page, shared a video of the moment she was gifted the Benz and ring, noting how soft and spoiled she is.
In his birthday message, Adekunle described her as his favourite human, his greatest muse, and his home. He said Simi has been his constant source of peace and strength, and that the world is lucky to have her.
In January, the parents of three celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary. Adekunle noted how seven years ago, he married his best friend, and since then, every year has been gentler than the last. He said that through it all, loving her has been the easiest and most beautiful decision of his life.
Simi stated that Adekunle is still the one, even after seven years have passed, and expressed gratitude for the joy and peace he brings to her life. Calling him the husband of her youth, she affirmed her love for him.
