Veteran immigration attorney, Dr. Ope Banwo, has expanded the operations of of his law organization with the opening of a new office, Banwo Law in Arlington, Texas.

The Arlington office becomes the second major base for the law firm after nearly three decades of operations in Omaha, Nebraska, where Banwo has built a legal practice focused on serving individuals, families and businesses navigating complex legal issues.

Banwo said the Texas expansion represents a significant milestone for the firm and reflects its commitment to reaching more clients across the United States.

According to him, Banwo Law intends to establish additional offices in major American cities over the next two years as part of a broader growth strategy.

Reflecting on his journey in the legal profession, Banwo noted that his goal since returning to legal practice in the United States in 1997 has remained unchanged.

He added that the opening of the Texas office marks the start of a new phase in the firm’s development.

For its inaugural year in Texas, the firm will concentrate exclusively on immigration law, providing legal services in areas such as family-based immigration, asylum applications, deportation defence, employment-based immigration, green card processing, citizenship and naturalisation, as well as humanitarian relief matters.

To commemorate the expansion, Banwo also announced the launch of the “Immigrant Survival Marathon,” a 30-day initiative that will provide free immigration education, legal guidance, policy updates and live interactive sessions through his platform, The Immigrant Survival Show.
