The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, Chibuzor Chinyere, has announced plans to support stranded Nigerian couples living in South Africa who wish to return home.
In a statement, the cleric said he has acquired a mini estate in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where affected families can temporarily reside upon their relocation back to Nigeria.
“All hope is not lost. If you are a Nigerian married couple living in South Africa and you want to relocate back to Nigeria, you can consider relocating to Port Harcourt, Rivers State,” he said.
He added that the estate would serve as a temporary settlement for returning families until they are financially stable enough to move on their own.
“I have just bought a mini estate for you people where you and your family will live until you get back on your feet,” he stated.
According to him, the initiative will go beyond housing support, as children of beneficiaries will be enrolled in free schools operated by OPM, while wives will be assisted in starting small businesses.
He also explained that husbands will be given access to free vocational training under the ministry, alongside daily provision of free meals.
The initiative, he said, is part of efforts to support struggling Nigerians abroad and help them reintegrate successfully into society upon their return.
