Arsenal moved a step closer to winning the Premier League title after securing a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night.
The only goal of the match came just before halftime when Kai Havertz rose highest to head home a corner delivered by Bukayo Saka.
Despite struggling to find their rhythm for much of the game, Arsenal managed to hold on and claim all three points in their second-to-last league match of the season.
The victory takes Mikel Arteta’s side to 82 points from 37 matches, five points ahead of Manchester City, who still have a game in hand and will face AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday.
Arsenal could be crowned champions if Manchester City fail to defeat Bournemouth. However, if City secure a win, the title race will go down to the final day, with Arsenal needing victory against Crystal Palace to seal the trophy.
