He maintained that no opposition candidate currently poses a serious challenge to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), including former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.…....

The governor made this position known while speaking about political developments within the party and the level of support the President continues to receive across different parts of the country.

The declaration came shortly after Namadi took part in the APC presidential primary exercise conducted at his polling ward in Kafin Hausa Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

The event was part of the party’s internal electoral process, during which members participated in selecting and affirming leadership choices within the structure of the APC.

Namadi referenced his participation as part of broader political engagement within the party at the grassroots level.

According to him, the turnout recorded during the primary election was notably high, with a significant number of party members coming out to participate.

He explained that this level of participation reflects continued confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership and the APC administration.

He further noted that the mobilisation and engagement of party supporters in Jigawa State signal sustained loyalty and political alignment with the ruling party.

Namadi also highlighted that the conduct of the primary election was peaceful and orderly.

He stated that the smooth organisation of the process demonstrates the party’s internal capacity to manage its affairs in line with democratic principles.

He linked the orderly nature of the exercise to what he described as adherence to internal democratic practices within the APC, especially in how party activities are coordinated at different levels.

The governor further reiterated his earlier commitment to secure a significant number of votes for President Tinubu in the 2027 general election.

He maintained that his projection of delivering more than one million votes for the President in Jigawa State remains achievable.

He attributed this outlook to what he described as the expanding acceptance of the APC within the state and the consistent participation of supporters in party activities.

He also emphasized that political mobilisation efforts in the state are ongoing, with party stakeholders working to strengthen support structures ahead of the next general election.

He pointed to the growing involvement of party members in electoral and organisational activities as part of the reasons behind his confidence in the party’s electoral performance in future contests.

He added that the level of engagement observed during party events reflects sustained political interest among supporters.

“As you can see, people came out massively for Bola Ahmed Tinubu. That clearly shows the confidence they have in him and in the APC,” he said.
