Fresh crisis may be brewing within the ruling All Progressives Congress as the party’s National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, openly warned former Ekiti State governor Kayode Fayemi to resign from the party over his recent criticisms of the APC leadership and internal processes.
Basiru accused Fayemi of engaging in anti-party activities and allegedly working with opposition forces to weaken the ruling party ahead of the forthcoming governorship election in Ekiti State.
He insisted that Fayemi could face disciplinary action if he continues attacking the APC publicly while remaining a member of the party....... .
