President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to officially receive the certificate of return and presidential flag of the All Progressives Congress as the party’s candidate for the 2027 presidential election during a high-profile event scheduled for Sunday in Abuja.
According to a State House statement signed by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, the presentation will be conducted by the APC Presidential Primary Elections Committee at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre following the nationwide collation of primary election results.
The ceremony is expected to attract APC governors, members of the National Executive Committee, National Working Committee, National Assembly leadership, and other influential party stakeholders, marking another major step in the ruling party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections....... .
