As Muslim faithful across Nigeria prepare for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the Federal Government has announced a 50% reduction in train fares nationwide to ease travel costs during the festive period.
Osima Gift Seddon disclosed the gesture in a statement on behalf of the Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Transportation.
The temporary fare reduction, approved through the Federal Ministry of Transportation, will take effect from Tuesday, May 26, and run until Monday, June 1, 2026....... .
