Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has broken his silence following his reported withdrawal from the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries ahead of the 2027 elections, insisting that governance remains his top priority.
Fubara made the remarks on Friday during an inspection tour of the ongoing Airport Road Bypass project in Port Harcourt, where he emphasized that political developments will not distract his administration from delivering key infrastructure projects.
The governor explained that his government is currently focused on completing major road and development projects across the state, assuring residents that none of them will be abandoned.
