Army Radio reported Monday morning on the results of the “ceasefire” between Israel and Lebanon announced two and a half weeks ago.
Since then, Hezbollah has launched roughly 70 explosive drones at IDF forces, causing multiple casualties. Two of the drones crossed into Israeli territory and wounded soldiers inside Israel.
Five IDF soldiers and security personnel have been killed during the “ceasefire” and 33 wounded. Of the casualties, three were killed by explosive drones, and 31 were injured. Two were killed by IEDs, and two soldiers were killed in clashes with Hezbollah terrorists.
Hezbollah has also fired dozens of rockets at IDF forces in southern Lebanon during the ceasefire, with some of them (fewer than 10) crossing into Israel. In response, IDF operations have killed around 200 Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli Air Force has struck approximately 500 Hezbollah targets since the ceasefire, all in southern Lebanon except for a single strike in the Beqaa region. For about a month—dating back to before the ceasefire—there have been no IDF strikes in Beirut and almost none in the Beqaa.
