Hon. Foluke Daramola-Salako, yesterday, May 2, 2027, formally presented her Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Oshodi Party Secretariat, marking a significant moment in the political landscape of Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency I.
Her entry into the race, signals a notable shift from the traditionally male-dominated contest, positioning her as a bold and credible female aspirant with a clear vision for representation.
Beyond the formal submission, Hon. Daramola-Salako, Nollywood actress, delivered a compelling and people-centered manifesto before the Party Chairman, Hon. Saheed Animashaun, alongside the seven Ward Chairmen, during a strategic engagement session.
Speaking at the meeting, she emphasized her passion and readiness to face the hurdles of the contest.
“I am not just here to present my forms, but to assure you of my deep commitment and passion for the success of this aspiration.”
She further highlighted her preparedness and experience. “I bring a well-thought-out transition plan, drawn from my long-standing involvement in contemporary politics, into a movement driven by exceptional, conscientious, and purposeful leadership.”
Acknowledging her unique position in the race, she added: “I am aware that I am the only woman in this contest, and I remain confident and hopeful. I have what it takes to succeed.”
“When elected to represent our people in the 11th National Assembly, my tenure will be creatively exceptional, people-focused, and truly rewarding. As a woman, my empathy and conscience are my greatest values and strengths, and I assure you, our people will be proud at the end of the day with my representation performance. I have the clout and influence to make that happen.”
