The Senate Minority Whip and Senator Representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Senator Dr Tony Nwoye has felicitated the Muslim faithful in Anambra North, Anambra State, Nigeria and worldwide on the celebration of the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir.
Senator Dr Tony Nwoye urged Nigerians to use the occasion to promote unity, peace and progress and also called for support and prayers for the poor and vulnerable members of society, most especially for the school Children who were still in Captive in Oyo State.
He said, “I wish Muslims and, indeed, all Nigerians, a peaceful and memorable Eid-El-Kabir. This season reminds us of total submission to the will of God. I urged Muslims and All Nigerians to renew their commitment to charity, especially towards the poor, needy and less privileged. Let us continue to pray for the safe return of School Children who were kidnapped in Oyo State”.
Let us embrace sacrifice, unity, charity and national renewal as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Kabir. The celebration should remind us of the virtues of faith, obedience, compassion and service to humanity.
