Former governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Anambra State, Chioma Ifemeludike, has publicly criticised Charles Soludo over what she described as misplaced priorities in governance.
In a strongly worded statement shared online, Ifemeludike mocked what she referred to as a newly completed swimming pool project allegedly linked to the state government, sarcastically suggesting that residents of communities such as Ogidi, Njikoka, Ofor Igwe and Umunachi would no longer need to travel to Awka for recreation.
Referring to the governor with the nickname “Amuneke” and “Solution,” she questioned the value of such projects amid the economic challenges facing citizens.
She further argued that hardship and suffering become unavoidable when voters exchange their votes for short-term benefits during elections.
Her comments appeared to criticize both government priorities and voter behavior, while suggesting that governance outcomes often reflect electoral decisions made by the public.
