A disturbing allegation involving the Nigerian Navy has sparked outrage online after reports emerged that a female naval personnel, identified as WO Yusuf, allegedly died after being subjected to punishment by her superior officer in Lagos State.
According to a viral account shared on X, the incident reportedly happened at the Nigerian Navy sick bay located in Gowon Estate, Ipaja, within Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos.
The post alleged that WO Yusuf was absent from duty on May 19, 2026, but returned to work the following day. Upon resuming, she was reportedly summoned by her Officer in Charge (OIC), Lt. Commander ST Abashim, and questioned over her absence....... .
