For Nearly An Hour, Buhari Went Around Talking The Me About The Problem He Had—Ardo

Former APC chieftain and leader of the All Democratic Alliance, Umar Ardor, has revealed how he once tried to convince former President Muhammadu Buhari to approach the tribunal process as part of a broader political strategy ahead of the 2015 presidential election.

Speaking during an interview with Arise News, Ardor explained that he met with Buhari and proposed a detailed political strategy that could strengthen his chances politically at the time. According to him, he was prepared to handle the planning, homework, and even mobilize financial support if Buhari agreed to proceed with the idea.

Ardor, however, said Buhari appeared reluctant despite the lengthy discussion they had.

According to him, the former president spent nearly an hour discussing the numerous challenges and problems he was facing, but eventually declined the proposal.

“I said, all I need from you is your yes. If you agree, I will do the strategy, do the homework, and then get the financing.
