The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the names of senatorial aspirants barred from participating in the party’s forthcoming Senate primary elections.
The party announced the development on Monday in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to the statement, the affected aspirants failed to secure clearance after undergoing the party’s screening process conducted by designated committees.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) hereby releases the list of senatorial aspirants not cleared to participate in the Party’s Senate Primary Elections,” the statement read.

It added that, “The screening exercise was conducted by the Party’s Screening Committees in line with established procedures and guidelines.”
TVC News Online had on Saturday, May 16, reported that the All Progressives Congress (APC) also released the names of House of Representatives aspirants who failed to secure clearance to participate in the party’s primary election ahead of the 2027 general elections.
