The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released an updated list of senatorial aspirants barred from participating in the party’s forthcoming Senate primary elections.
The party disclosed the revised list in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to the statement, the affected aspirants failed to secure clearance after undergoing the party’s screening process conducted by designated committees.
TVC News Online had earlier reported that the APC, on Monday, released a list of 47 senatorial aspirants not cleared to participate in the party’s Senate primary elections.
However, the updated list showed that 44 candidates were affected, as against the initial list which featured 47 disqualified aspirants.
