Full list of Nigerian universities’ UTME cut-off marks for 2026 admissions

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the minimum Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) cut-off marks approved by universities across the country for the 2026 admission exercise.

The approved minimum scores were presented during the 2026 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions held in Abuja on Monday.

According to the list, Pan-Atlantic University adopted the highest minimum cut-off mark of 220 among Nigerian universities.

Several leading institutions, including Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Benin, University of Ibadan, University of Lagos, University of Nigeria and Covenant University, fixed their minimum cut-off marks at 200.

Lagos State University and Lagos State University of Science and Technology adopted 195, while Lagos State University of Education fixed its cut-off mark at 185.

JAMB explained that the approved scores represent the minimum thresholds for admission consideration, noting that institutions may set higher requirements for highly competitive courses such as Medicine, Law, Pharmacy and Engineering.
