It is no longer news that following her support for President Tinubu during the election, Badmus was appointed the Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Social Events and Public Hearing.
While confirming her appointment, Eniola appreciated Abbas for the political appointment as she expressed how honoured she was to be given such an opportunity to serve under his leadership.
In July of that year, the actress officially resumed her duty. She had shared photos of her and the Senator from their meeting with Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) in Abuja.
Last year, while sharing photos of herself in her office, Eniola shared a message with Nigerians, admonishing them to walk in unity, pride, and purpose. She made them realise that the power to shape their future rests in their hands.
On Nigeria’s 65th anniversary, the Omo Ghetto Star shared photos of herself at the Nigerian Embassy in the UK, stating that no matter where we find ourselves, we carry Nigeria with us. Eniola said anytime she sees our flag wave, whether in Lagos or London, it stirs something deep within her. Reflecting on how far the country has come, she said the future is built on unity, courage, and the unshakable Nigerian spirit.
