He Was Our Last Presidential Candidate, He Came Up And Purchased Our Form – Don Norman

During a recent discussion about the leadership crisis in the African Democratic Congress, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Don Norman, defended the emergence of Dumebi Kachikwu as the faction’s presidential candidate and explained that he was already known within the party because he previously served as the ADC’s presidential candidate.

Mr. Norman also stated that Dumebi Kachikwu officially purchased the party’s nomination form and declared interest in contesting the next general election which, according to him, showed that the candidate followed the party’s approved guidelines and constitutional process for aspirants seeking the presidential ticket.

Speaking on the outcome of the internal election, Mr. Norman explained that Dumebi Kachikwu emerged unopposed because he was the only legitimate candidate in the party at the time, adding that the absence of other contestants confirmed the authenticity and legality of his victory in the party’s primary process.
