Once again, an Igbo man has been caught in a massive criminal operation, bringing further shame to Nigeria’s image.
Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force Zone 2 Command have arrested 41-year-old Igbo suspected drug kingpin Eke Henry Ifeanyi in a major raid in Lagos, recovering 425 bags of substances suspected to be Canadian Loud, a potent strain of cannabis valued at N7.8 billion.
The operation, conducted at Ifeanyi’s three-bedroom apartment and warehouse at 10, Olori Adekemi Ajibola Street, Arowojobe Estate, Mende, Maryland, followed intelligence from a concerned citizen and months of surveillance.
